Lucky me — my assistant and gallery attendant — Holly Hawton is a CWU senior majoring in art. Her genuine delight with the artwork’s wall shadows lifted my spirits.

She has a great attitude, cheerfully and skillfully taking on whatever task comes her way. Today, for instance, I asked if she felt okay about following me throughout the day with a camera, which included time on the lift. She was undaunted.

I’m grateful to have these images to document my process.  She also took a few batches of video that I will edit and post soon.
